Hillary and Tina interview former Florida State House Rep for District 103, Cindy Polo.
Cindy Polo is a mother, advocate, and a former Florida State Representative. She was born in Providence, Rhode Island to her Colombian parents. Moving to Northwest Miami-Dade at the age of two, Cindy has always been a fierce advocate for equal and adequate representation in all forms of government. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Mass communications and her MBA from Florida International University. Her career experience includes working for the Miami Heat and the Miami-Dade Expressway Authority. Her most important role was becoming a stay at home mother. Inspired by the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Shooting, Polo knew she had to take action, which is why she ran for the Florida House of Representatives in 2018 for District 103. Cindy flipped a long-held seat from Red to Blue by 7 points. In her two years in the Florida House, Cindy Polo was a champion for everyday Floridians.

Gloria Pedro (she/her) is the Manager of Public Policy and Organizing for Planned Parenthood Great Plains Vote in Arkansas and Oklahoma. At PPGPV, Gloria is one of many dedicated policy experts and community organizers fighting for reproductive rights in four of the country’s most restrictive states. When Gloria’s not acting as a state legislature watch-dog, she’s using her voice as a truth-telling, Black radical, feminist to fight for liberation for all; or sipping whiskey while watching Grey’sAnatomy.

Hillary and Tina interview Colorado House Rep for District 27, Brianna Taylor.
Representative Brianna Titone was elected in 2018 to represent House District 27 in Colorado. She serves as the Vice Chair of the Joint Technology Committee, and serves on the Health & Insurance and Energy & Environment Committees. Additionally, she serves as chair of the House Democrats LGBTQ Caucus. She has successfully legislated an agenda committed to eliminating gaps in consumer protections, affordable housing, healthcare, and LGBTQ rights in Colorado.
